I’m very excited to write about this restaurant as it has been my favorite date night spot for some time now. When it comes to a restaurant that I know I’m going to have a great meal with the best service staff around there’s no place we enjoy more than Amore. Granted there are restaurants that may be fancier, trendier, and/or more expensive, but none of those have come close to making my wife and I feel more at home and at the same time satisfying our culinary tastes as well as Amore has. Tucked into a small strip mall in Naples, this restaurant is very unassuming from the outside, but nicely decorated inside with a small outdoor dining area in front. Amore is one of our favorites because it’s the type of restaurant that you can dine in and not feel rushed. Our server Andre has quickly become a favorite of my wife and I. He along with the rest of the staff as well as the owners are always visible and seem to anticipate your every need. Don’t take our word for it, go and check it out for yourselves.
My wife started with fresh burrata served with yellow and red tomatoes and basil. 
I started with the beef carpaccio. Thinly sliced raw fillet mignon served on a bed of arugula with fresh shaved Parmigiano, capers, and lemon dressing.
For her second course, my wife had the tomato basil soup. It was simple, perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh tasting.
For my second course I had a seafood salad, complete with marinated shrimp, calamari, octopus, clams, scallops, and lemon. Absolutely delicious! Like an Italian ceviche.

Our next course is a secret! It’s not on the menu and not read as a special, but if you ask it’s always available. On our first visit to Amore, our server Andre took the time to inquire about our favorite foods and dishes we enjoy at other restaurants and at home. After which, he asked if we would like to try a special sacchetti pasta. They are the definition of amazing. Little pasta pouches filled with cheese served in a sinful butter sauce with shaved black truffles and grated Parmesan cheese. We always get a half order as our third course to share!!
For her dinner course my wife got the penne vodka. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was perfect; not too heavy, but still rich and flavorful.
For my dinner course I had veal Milanese. Fresh lightly breaded veal chop topped with chopped tomatoes, red onion, and arugula drizzled with a light lemon dressing. Awesome dish and because of the arugula salad on top I still had room to stop for dessert on the way home.
In conclusion I would just like to say that if I owned a restaurant in Southwest Florida, I would want it to be Amore Ristorante. Hope you have a chance to visit them.
